Geochemical surveys
In geochemical surveys targeting mineral resources exploration, geochemical samples as stream sediments (fine sands), soils (subsoil or saprolite) and rocks (hydrothermal or mineralized alteration rocks) are collected based on the exploration stage, and are sent for chemical analysis. We carry out the statistical analysis of multi-element chemical analysis results and extracts geochemical anomalies, and create geochemical maps and geochemical anomaly maps on each element. Then, we extract promising areas of mineral deposits based on geology, alteration, mineralization and geochemistry survey results.
In geochemical surveys targeting geothermal resources exploration, hot spring, surface water and other geochemical samples are collected and sent for chemical analysis in order to identify the nature of geothermal fluids.

Soil sampling using a hand auger on a geochemical survey in Solomon Islands.
